Purpose of the Study
The ENDURE Study at ADOM Academy is designed to evaluate how non-radiative ultrasound can improve the accuracy, safety, and precision of dental diagnosis. Traditional dental imaging relies heavily on ionizing radiation such as cone beam CT (CBCT) and X-rays. This study seeks to understand whether ultrasound can provide meaningful anatomical information that supports or enhances dental evaluation.
The goal of this study is to help transform dental care so clinicians can move from traditional practice patterns toward true precision-based dental diagnostics. By studying how ultrasound visualizes teeth, bone, gums, and surrounding tissues, we aim to determine how this technology may benefit patients, reduce cumulative radiation exposure, and improve diagnostic outcomes in daily dental practice.
This study is non-diagnostic and non-invasive. All scans are performed for research and educational purposes only. The information gathered will help ADOM Academy advance safer imaging practices and explore the future of precision-based dentistry.
Ultrasound images collected in this study will not be used to diagnose, treat, or recommend care.
