Thyroid Ultrasound Screening
Reserve Your Spot
A thyroid ultrasound is a safe, non-radiative scan that evaluates the thyroid gland and surrounding tissues in the neck. This screening allows us to identify early structural changes that may affect hormone balance, metabolism, and overall systemic wellbeing. This screening helps rule out: Thyroid Tumors Any solid or complex masses within the thyroid gland that may require monitoring or further evaluation. Cysts Fluid-filled tumors or pockets that can occur within the thyroid. Goiter (Thyroid Enlargement) Enlargement of the thyroid gland that may indicate underlying imbalance. Signs of Thyroiditis Inflammatory patterns or irregular textures suggesting irritation or autoimmune activity. Asymmetry Between Thyroid Lobes Differences in size, contour, or appearance between the right and left lobes. Abnormal Vascular Patterns (as seen on Doppler) Increased or decreased blood flow that may indicate functional changes. Suspicious Structural Features Characteristics that merit follow-up with a healthcare provider. A thyroid ultrasound is quick, painless, and completely free of radiation. Your participation not only helps our students learn but also supports our community through early awareness, prevention, and education.
