Pelvic Ultrasound Screening
Reserve Your Spot
A pelvic transabdominal ultrasound is a safe, non-radiative scan that evaluates key structures within the pelvis using sound waves only. This screening allows us to obtain a broad view of pelvic anatomy and identify early signs of conditions that may benefit from follow-up care. This screening helps evaluate and rule out: Uterus (as applicable) Uterine enlargement Fibroids (leiomyomas) Abnormal uterine shape or position Endometrial thickening or irregularity (limited overview) Ovaries (as visualized) Ovarian cysts Enlarged ovaries Masses or abnormal contours Polycystic ovarian appearance (when visible) Pelvic Structures Free pelvic fluid Adnexal masses Structural asymmetry or displacement Bladder (when adequately filled) Bladder wall thickening Structural abnormalities Incomplete emptying patterns (visual assessment) Pelvic Vasculature (visual overview) Gross vascular enlargement Compression or displacement patterns related to pelvic structures Pelvic transabdominal ultrasound is quick, painless, and completely free of radiation. Your participation helps our students gain hands-on experience while providing our community with an opportunity for early awareness and preventive evaluation.
