THERAPEUTIC

INFUSION

Therapeutic infusion describes administering medications intravenously.

This involves injecting a needle into a patient’s arm and infusing medications, antibiotics, vitamins, or hydration.

Therapeutic infusions are involved in a wide array of clinical scenarios from chemotherapy to elective vitamin infusions.

Our therapeutic infusion therapy training provides a comprehensive phlebotomy course that will guide students in inserting IVs and administering infusions.
