Dear ADOM is a safe space where students, educators, patients, and practitioners come together to learn from one another. Our Dear ADOM Forum invites everyone to share their stories, fostering a community built on empathy, education, and empowerment.
Each visit to Dear ADOM offers a classroom of life—and sometimes death—lessons in healthcare. Every story, shared with the patient’s permission, teaches us more about our bodies, our health, and how to navigate the healthcare system with greater confidence and understanding.
True stories of patient experiences are shared with Dear ADOM to inspire and educate listeners. We relive, investigate, and learn from life-and-death situations, uncovering what happened to the patients—the good, the bad, and the ugly. These stories guide us in finding better ways to achieve better health. Not everyone survives, but all stories inspire the rest of us to continue sharing lifesaving information, helping us all to become survivors.

More importantly, we explore how persistence and the right tools can illuminate a path toward healthy and caring healthcare.
